The .txt files are useful if you wish to format the song sheet to your own liking, just remember to use a monospace font to ensure that the chords are correctly positioned above the words. Common monospace fonts include Courier New and Lucida Typewriter in Windows, Courier in iOS, and a variety of fonts in GNU/Linux. My personal preference is Inconsolata.
